Job Description:
UCHealth, a trailblazer in providing superior healthcare in
Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our
Trauma-Burn Outreach Coordinator. In this vital role, you will be
instrumental in bridging the gap between trauma services and
community needs, enhancing our trauma care system and extending
outreach to improve trauma and burn prevention and care education.
This role involves collaboration with multiple departments,
healthcare professionals, and community organizations to develop
and implement outreach programs that effectively address the
specific needs of populations we serve. Design, develop, and
implement trauma and burn awareness programs targeting community
and healthcare professionals. Collaborate with healthcare teams to
gather data and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs
while identifying needs for new initiatives. Conduct community and
professional educational sessions and workshops. Participate in
grant writing and funding initiatives to support program
development. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and
organizational guidelines relevant to trauma and burn care and
education. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience
in program development and community outreach Ability to work
collaboratively across various departments Proficient in data
collection, analysis, and reporting Grant writing expertise Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
Certification in trauma nursing or burn care preferred Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) Certification preferable
