Job Description:

As a Nursing House Supervisor at UCHealth, you will be integral in maintaining the highest standards of patient care while overseeing the administrative duties of our health care facilities during assigned shifts. In this leadership role, you will ensure that all patient care operations are conducted smoothly and efficiently, coordinating between various departments to resolve issues promptly and effectively. This position requires a professional who is prepared to act in a pivotal capacity, ensuring that staff adhere to clinical guidelines and our own standards of excellence, all while fostering an environment that prioritizes patient-centered care. Oversee the nursing staff and ensure adherence to all clinical and administrative protocols. Act as the primary administrative contact for all units during your shift, facilitating interdepartmental communications and decision-making. Monitor patient care for compliance with healthcare standards and laws/regulations. Manage any emergent situations effectively, allocating resources and personnel as necessary. Evaluate staffing requirements and participate in the selection and development of nursing personnel. Ensure the completion of all required healthcare documentation and administrative paperwork. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle high-stress, fast-paced environments Problem-solving skills and proficiency in managing multidisciplinary teams Experience with healthcare management systems and databases Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
