Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Travel RN to join our Outpatient
Malignant Hematology Clinic. This role is crucial in providing
specialized nursing care and support to patients dealing with
malignant hematology conditions. The successful candidate will work
alongside a team of expert healthcare professionals in a dynamic
and supportive environment, ensuring the highest standards of
patient-centered care are maintained. This position requires travel
to various UCHealth facilities, offering a unique opportunity to
gain diverse experiences within the system. Assess, plan, and
implement nursing care plans for patients in the malignant
hematology outpatient clinic. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary
team to provide comprehensive patient care. Administer chemotherapy
and other medications according to protocol. Monitor patient
response to treatment and adjust care plans as necessary. Educate
patients and families on treatment expectations, side effects, and
self-management techniques. Ensure the continuity of care through
accurate documentation and communication. Maintain patient safety
and confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations and
standards. Proficiency in administering chemotherapy and managing
side effects. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical
and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced and changing environment. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado. OCN (Oncology Certified
Nurse) certification preferred.
