The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and supporting patients through their healthcare journeys. Key Responsibilities The Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) OR Circulator Nurse is an experienced Registered Nurse who is responsible for providing a safe and efficient environment for the patient during the intra-operative phases of the stay. Direct Patient Care: Provides direct patient care as main circulating RN using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Supervision and oversight : Responsible for supervising and overseeing the clinical aspect for the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Collaboration: Work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the surgical team to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patients needs. Emergency Response: Be prepared to recognize and respond to any complications or emergencies, utilizing your critical thinking and assessment skills. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, medication administration, and recovery progress to ensure seamless communication across care teams. Regulatory Compliance: Participate in keeping the center's regulatory compliance current to ensure high standards of care and safety. Safety Protocols: Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff. Qualifications: . Licensure: Current RN license in Colorado Experience: Previous experience in an OR or Perioperative setting Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support). ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required (or within three months of hire) Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for patient interaction and teamwork.
