UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for our daytime shift. This role involves providing critical care to neonates with various health issues in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our travel nurses are pivotal in upholding our mission to deliver exceptional patient-centered care across our network. This position offers the chance to work alongside top industry professionals in well-equipped facilities while contributing to the health and well-being of our youngest patients. Provide high-quality, compassionate care to newborns in a NICU setting. Monitor and administer medication and intravenous infusions to neonates. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, other nurses, and specialist staff. Communicate effectively with parents and families about the care and condition of their infants. Participate in training and development sessions to stay current with the latest medical procedures and advancements. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Strong clinical skills in neonatal care Proficiency in using medical hardware typically used in NICU settings, including incubators and ventilators Excellent communication skills for interacting with families and multidisciplinary team members Ability to work flexibly in challenging and fast-paced environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license NICU certification preferred (e.g., RNC-NIC or CCRN Neonatal)
