day.DescriptionResponsibilities for a Construction Site
Superintendent Include but are not limited to:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to
completion.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverable and
estimate costs.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and
subcontractors.
- Select tools, materials and equipment, and track
inventory.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Review the work progress on daily basis.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job
status.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain
permits and licenses.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper
construction techniques.ProfileThe Successful Construction Site
Superintendent will have the following:
- 10-12 years superintendent experience with multifamily/wood
frame/podium style construction
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors,
and customers
- Able to analyze problems and strategies for better
solutions
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Organized and able to create multiple timeliness, budgets, and
schedules
- Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; Microsoft
Project and experience with Project Management software
