Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opportunity for a Quality Analyst 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.This position will be located in Aurora, CO.Join the Space PGS Division in its Drive for Excellence and work with our team of experts in developing and delivering Space PGS systems and solutions that keep our world safe.The Principal Quality Analyst 3 develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software and hardware quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures. Conducts software and hardware inspection, testing, verification and validation. Implements software and hardware development and maintenance processes and methods. Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives. Ensures that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract. Reviews software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements. Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Performs or directs verification of software and hardware capabilities allocations, traceability, and testability.Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's with 6 years of experience; Master's with 4 years of experience; or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Hands on hardware experience with military vehicles or aerospace platforms
  • Demonstrable knowledge of software and hardware development methods and Systems Engineering practices
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate software and hardware work products
  • Top Secret/SCI security clearance requiredPreferred Qualifications:
    • Experience supporting an agile and/or DevOps software development environment
    • Experience using LINUX, JIRA, Confluence, Git and BitBucket
    • AS9100 auditing experience and/or auditor training
    • Strong communication and presentation skills

      Salary Range: 80100 - 120100

      Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
