Job Summary:
The Department of Radiology at the University of Colorado School of
Medicine has an immediate opening for a full-time faculty member in
the Nuclear Medicine Division, at the rank of Assistant, Associate
or Full Professor. This is a terrific opportunity to join a highly

Our division has received the highest level designation by the
Society of Nuclear Medicine as a Comprehensive Radiotherapy Center
of Excellence. We have a growing theragnostic service,
opportunities to grow in clinical trials, and a state-of-the-art
University of Colorado Research Imaging Center (CU-RIC). The latter
includes onsite radiopharmaceutical production including a new
cyclotron facility, new PET/MRI, and exceptional molecular imaging
research opportunities.
The successful recruit will show a deep commitment to clinical

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical service includes interpretation of PET / CT and general
nuclear medicine; radiotherapy for thyroid, prostate and GEP -NETS;
tumor boards.
Participation in teaching activities for residents and fellows
Depending upon experience and qualifications, leadership roles in
clinical service and theragnostic are also available.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of
hire.
The CU Department of Radiology encourages foreign medical graduates
on J1 visa that require a J1 Waiver to apply for this position.
This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Assistant
Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. Salaries are based on
years of experience and are equal across all academic ranks.
Academic rank will be determined during the interview process after
discussion between you and the department about your previous
experience and academic desires.
Assistant Professor:
MD/DO or equivalent, Colorado medical license by time of hire, ABR
or ABNM certified or eligible, Fellowship or CAQ in nuclear
medicine
Associate Professor:
MD/DO or equivalent, Colorado medical license by time of hire, ABR
or ABNM certified or eligible, Fellowship or CAQ training in
nuclear medicine
Professor:
MD/DO or equivalent, Colorado medical license by time of hire, ABR
or ABNM certified or eligible, Fellowship or CAQ training in
nuclear medicine
Required Competencies (all ranks)
Excellence in the practice of Nuclear Medicine

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has
been established as HIRING RANGE:
Assistant Professor: $420,000 - $470,000
Associate Professor: $420,000 - $470,000
Professor: $420,000 - $470,000
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the
University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of
possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not
eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
