Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Staff Systems
Engineer for their Aurora, CO location to perform as an
Infrastructure/Hardware Architect supporting the New Moon Program.
As a part of the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT)
team, the candidate will be responsible for architecture, design,
and deployment activities for the program's hardware footprint.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to complete
tasks with little direction and oversight. They will be an
excellent communicator and problem solver who is able to develop
and maintain good working relationships with internal and external
stakeholders and customers. The candidate will demonstrate a
commitment to ethics, integrity.
Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Architect includes
providing and maintaining HW engineering documentation (i.e., Rack
Els, Floor Plans, etc---), Provisioning Specification (P-Spec)
management, and the overall build and delivery roadmap. Additional
responsibilities include working with network engineers for
firewall, DNS and IP management, submittal, and tracking. The
architect will also participate with a multi-disciple team to
mitigate and solve and program concerns. While supporting program
and software management teams to manage software lifecycle issues
and deployments with deliveries.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's (STEM) degree and a minimum of 14 years of relevant
experience; 12 years with a Masters; 9 years with a PhD.
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI & CI polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
10 years in related fields such as System Administration, Network
Administration or large program HW/SW engineering leadership
roles.
Experience with Hardware and System Architectural Design
Decision
Experience using Visio, PowerPoint, and the Office 365 Tool
Suite
Proven ability to plan for content, cost, and schedule for program
increments from design through integration.
Salary Range: $153,600 USD - $230,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
