Raytheon Intelligence and Space seeks a Senior Maintenance Electrician Technician to support the installation, modification, operation and repair of Large Earth Terminal Maintenance systems. A Licensed Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical power, lighting, control systems, motors, generators, transformers, switch panels, etc. The systems are mechanical, electrical and RF based.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Performs electrical and related work involved in the maintenance of industrial - building - installation, repair and modification of electrical, electronic systems and equipment. Excluding electronic test equipment.
• Chooses routing, location and method of installing wire, conduits, electrical equipment, fixtures and accessories.
• Chooses advisability or need for repair or replacement and best and safest method of restoring interrupted service. Computes wire gage, power and load limit requirements when required.
• Must be familiar with electrical code and safe working practices.
• Must have the ability to work from schematics, blueprints, verbal and written instructions.
• Experienced in the repair, modification and maintenance of high voltage switch gear and associated equipment. Does repair and installation work such as splicing, tapping and insulating wires and cable's
• Work in an open environment where frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers is ordinary.
• The position schedule supports a non-traditional work week comprised of 12 hour shifts with a day night rotation for 24/7 coverage.
• Performs other duties and required Qualifications You Must Have:
  • State of Colorado Journeyman Electrician Card and completed OSHA 500 training
  • Knowledge of electrical maintenance, shop theory, practice, procedure and ordinances
  • With Twelve (12) years of experience as an industrial - building and/or installation electrician
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be willing to work 12 hour rotating day and night shifts supporting a 7 x 24 mission Required Security Clearance:
    
    The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance w/CI Poly prior to the start date.

    Required Skills:
    • Upon acceptance this person will enter into a formal certification process and will be required to obtain and maintain certification for ground terminal operations.
    • Knowledge and ability to work on operational systems within an Operational and Maintenance (O M) industry.
    • Ability to learn and understand a wide application of technical philosophies and concepts utilized in this area.
    • Must be able to distinguish the difference between colors on a computer monitor (specifically red, blue, white and green).
    • Requires the ability to utilize graphical and textual color displays of remote systems to evaluate and respond to mission needs Education Requirements:
      • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant job experience or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree. Military experience may substitute for some requirements. Military technical certification credit for military experience (*military personnel who have been formally trained or have relevant experience obtained while in service versus civilian training).

        This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
        
        The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
