Job Description:
*HIRING ALL POSITIONS- Site Staff, site managers and sub/on call
staff!! FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES! PART TIME AFTER SCHOOL HOURS! NO
WEEKENDS! *_*Hiring for afterschool program located inside the
Denver Public School for *_*2022-23 School Year.* Right At School
is hosting an Open Interview Session for potential employment as
After-School Program Managers and Educators. If you are passionate
about providing a variety of exceptional, enrichment child
development for our after-school programs; Please apply with a

Rate: * Educator positions starting at $16/hr Site Program Managers
starting at $20/hr *Length of Position: * This *part time
position**.* This position is during the academic year while school
is in session. There is also the potential for academic year break
period employment, as well as summer camp employment. *As an
Program Manager, every day is different! However, typical duties
will include: *
* Delivering quality enrichment programs for children using
internally crafted Disguised Learning curriculum
* Developing and coaching a team who are passionate about providing
a safe, fun, engaging environment (check out here what our staff

* Working closely with principals and school staff to enhance the
instructional experience
* Instilling the Right At School footprint by participating in
local community events (Back to School, Right Club gives back,
Field Day, and more!)
* Manage and maintain safety standards including supervision and
program paperwork. Must be 21 years or older
* *Site Program Managers- Must have verifiable education or
training in work with school-age children in such areas as
recreation, education, scouting or 4-H; and must have completed at
least one of the following qualifications*
* Four (4) year college degree with a major such as recreation,
outdoor education, education with a specialty in art, elementary or
early childhood education, or a subject in the human service
field;
* OR
* Two (2) years of college training AND six (6) months (910 hours)
of satisfactory and verifiable full-time or equivalent part-time,
paid or volunteer experience, since attaining the age of eighteen
(18), in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children;
OR *Three years (5460 hours) of satisfactory and verifiable
full-time or equivalent part-time, paid or volunteer experience,
AND one of the following qualifications: * Complete six semester
hours, or nine quarter hours in course work from a regionally
accredited college or university;*
*OR
* 40 clock hours of training in course work applicable to
school-age children and the department-approved courses in injury
prevention, and playground safety for School-Aged Child Care
Centers within the first nine months of employment. **For our
staff, every day is different! However, typical duties will
include: *
* Partnering with the Program Manager to deliver a dynamic Right At
School curriculum. We work together as a team to achieve our
mission and promote collaboration!
* Building relationships and communicating with parents to provide
the best child care for their children. We encourage our staff to
foster those important relationships that contribute to our
success.
* Being a role model for children by modeling positive behaviors to
assist with learning. Moving around to manage the classroom and
maintain safety with a positive guidance approach.
* Helping our programs be the best they can be! Verifying quality
and compliance standards are met by organizing program materials
and documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
* Being asked to kneel, run, lift up to 25 lbs., and have a lot of
fun while doing so.
* Regularly checking in with the Program Manager about personal and
child performance metrics to ensure human growth. Our leaders care
deeply about the development of students AND staff.
* *Educators-Must have at least three (3) months (460 hours) of
full-time or equivalent part-time satisfactory and verifiable
experience with school-age children.*
* Positive and can-do attitude
* Respect for and dedication to working with children with special
needs
* High school diploma/GED
* Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills
* Strong classroom management skills with the ability to use and
model appropriate positive discipline
