Job Description:
DescriptionThe Member Engagement Professional 2 oversees the
enrollment, education, engagement, and activation duties for client
groups regardless of segment, and for product where warranted. The
Member Engagement Professional 2 work assignments are varied and
frequently require interpretation and independent determination of
the appropriate courses of action.ResponsibilitiesThe Member
Engagement Professional 2 contributes to business strategy by
understanding benefit offerings to ensure enrollment success,
identifying member education opportunities to drive maximum
utilization of available resources, and directing clients on the
use of available resources. Understands department, segment, and
organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their
linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work
methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal
direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established
guidelines/procedures.Additional roles and responsibilities:Oversee
proper and timely responses are being sent back to group or broker
from operational partners, including specific member level
escalations, as neededDetermine areas of member engagement across
block of businessPlan, coordinate and implement member-facing
events by working with multiple different areasArrange meeting
locations, content, staffing, giveaways, and additional supplies
for Bringing Humana to You eventsConduct seminar training meetings
prior to Open Enrollment meetingsDevelop and maintain relationship
with customer at appropriate levels of their organizationDeepen
broker, Union, and Association contacts and develop relationshipAct
as liaison between Humana, customer and internal partnersAttend
client and broker/consultant conference calls or in person
meetingsAssist with the tracking of Performance Guarantee
deliverables and collaborate with the Account Executive on
delivering Performance Guarantees to clients, as needed.Be a
resource for additional ad-hoc reporting requests from client,
broker or Account ExecutiveAttend and participate in retiree
association or union meetingsResearch and formulate the Group
Medicare Proactive Care Strategy communication pieces and related
information are shared with clients, while also developing an
outgoing message notice to each client to make the information
relevant to their ongoing communication strategyConduct Bringing
Humana to You events and track meeting feedbackWork directly with
Communications Consultant on PowerPoint materials and member facing
materials for engagement events and Open Enrollment
ActivitiesMonitor and suggest feedback for custom client
websitesRequired QualificationsHigh School DiplomaMust be able to
adapt under public pressureStrong presentation, speaking and
meeting facilitation skillsMust be able to multi-task and manage a
variety of different group dynamicsStrong written and oral
communication skillsMaintain a high level of
professionalismCommunication/customer service & collaborating
skills also crucial since serving/interacting with numerous
internal HUM client areasSolid leadership and personal
accountability for work and productivityHealth and Life license or
in process of pursuing (completion within 30 days of hire)This role
is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an
individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of
personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100
limits.Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and
PowerPointAble to meet deadlines, work with minimum supervisionMust
be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on
continuously improving consumer experiencesWilling and able to
travel, which can be extensive during certain times of the year
(September - November)Humana and its subsidiaries require
vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit
proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who
remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID
testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or

RangeThe compensation range represents a good-faith estimate of
annualized starting pay at the time of posting based on a full-time
40-hour workweek and may vary based on geographic location and/or
employment type. Individual pay decisions will vary based on
demonstrated job-related skills such as education, experience,
