Position Description: Primary purpose:
Implements and maintains electrical power circuits and equipment,
control and automation systems, electronic and pneumatic equipment
used in pipeline, compressor stations, plant operations and

Installs, inspects, maintains, operates, troubleshoots, repairs,
calibrates, and adjusts various pneumatic, hydraulic, electric,
electronic, and Programmable Logic (PLC) control systems.
Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors,
drivers and auxiliary equipment.
Performs Inspection and Maintenance (I & M) checks on all control
Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution.
Lead efforts to develop and implement changes as a result of
Assist Corrosion and Engineering personnel with the evaluation /
development / implementation / maintenance of facility grounding
Required to take assessment testing for meeting level
Install, analyze and repair security/intrusion systems.
Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all
facilities and equipment as needed.
Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by
Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns.
Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork.
Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures,
and regulatory and tariff requirements.
Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence.
Mentor with fellow employees when the opportunity presents
Must respond to and address callouts and emergencies outside
regular business hours, including after dark hours, which may
require carrying a communication device.

Position Requirements: Minimum requirements :
High School Diploma with 1-3 years of equivalent skills
(instrumentation, automation, electrical controls) and
Experience / specific knowledge:
Working knowledge of National Electric Codes.
Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and
Knowledge of electronic test instruments and equipment.
Certifications, licenses, registrations:
Possess a valid driver's license and meet company insurability
May be required to possess a commercial driver's license, drive a
company commercial vehicle and comply with all commercial vehicle
May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required
to perform job duties.
Competencies, skills, and abilities:
Basic computer skills (MS office, install software, adding drivers,

The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen

Physical ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds in an awkward
position and as much as 50 pounds from floor to waist.
Ability to bend/stoop, kneel and climb stairs/ladders.
Ability to use hand tools and equipment, repetitive hand use such
as simple grasp and twisting motion included.
May work in low-lit areas.
Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions.
Must wear PPE appropriate for job duty or task.
Must be able to frequently enter confined spaces, climb to and work
from elevated platforms, ladders, and walkways, etc.
Depending upon the location and workload, travel will be

Preferred education, experience, certifications, competencies,
skills, and abilities:
Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in
Intermediate computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, operating
systems, company software).
Associate degree in a technical field.
Mechanical background or automotive certification.
Electrical background and/or electrical state certification
Knowledge of process controls and gas processing fundamentals.
Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable
gasses and high/low pressure systems.

Pay range: $34.00 to $47.00 per hour. This position may include a
discretionary annual incentive plan. Job level and pay commensurate
with experience and skill set.
