Patient Access Liaison - Ambulatory Staffing Program -
Anschutz Medical Campus
Full Time Schedule, Days
The Patient Access Liaison or PAL role is a call-center focused
position. You will answer a high volume of calls and will help
register new patients, schedule appointments, transfer calls to
appropriate personnel, and coordinate communication between
patients and clinical departments. You will be hired initially into
the Ambulatory Staffing Development program for orientation and
training after which time you are transferred to a department
determined by fit. We are looking for individuals who can provide
the highest level of customer service in every interaction; going
above and beyond is our standard.
Registers new patients, schedules appointments, transfer calls to
appropriate personnel, and coordinates communication between

Updates patient account information. Verifies insurance with

Patient Line Key Performance Indicators reports.
Serves as a resource for staff, physicians and community. Answers
and routes marketing questions.
Schedules for one medical and/or surgical specialty, not exclusive
of primary care.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive
judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate

Minimum Experience: 2 Years' Customer Service Experience
The pay range for this position is: $15.40- $22.53 / hour.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon
organizational and individual performance
