Hardware EngineerLocation: Aurora, CO.Required Clearance: Secret
U.S. Citizenship Mandatory: Due to our US federal government
contract, candidates for this position are required to be a US
Citizen and will be subject to a background investigation. Job
Description:ITEC is looking for a talented Hardware Engineer to
join our team. This role will support deployment of a heterogeneous
mix of RF and Satellite Ground station equipment: requiring a
fundamental understanding of various technologies ranging from:
RS-422 switches, Modulators, Demodulators, various signal types
ranging from Ethernet, coaxial, fiber optic and multi-conductor and
related cabling equipment used as the interface between satellite
command and control systems and Ground Terminal (GT) equipment. The
Ideal candidate will have experience with configuring networked HW
devices such as up converters, down converters, smart power strips,
terminal servers, NTP time servers, modems, etc.. Additional
familiarity with RF, baseband (i.e. 70 Mhz), serial devices, and
network devices are desired. Required Skills:- Hardware, Computer,
or Electrical Engineering system design experience.- Experience
supporting an integrated system that includes network, compute, and
specialized RF/Baseband equipment.- General knowledge of common
information system (compute and network) hardware interfaces.-
Experience reviewing manuals, procedures, plans, specifications,
engineering drawings and notebooks.- Able to travel on occasion,
domestically, for up to 3 weeks.- 6 + years of related work
