As a part of our continued growth, we are looking--for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Crush Crew Worker. We are seeking candidates who are extremely motivated and have basic mechanical abilities and automotive knowledge. The Crush Crew is responsible for preparing--vehicles for crushing into scrap metal within the suggested time constraints in a safe and conscious manner.--This--may entail removing wiring harnesses, radiators, starters condensers hoses aluminum wheels, or any other metal not removed by the mechanized puller. Subject to intense physical labor and repetitive lifting. Must be able to lift at least 75lbs. Must be able to work outside in various types of weather. Works with hydraulic oils, motor oils, antifreeze, and diesel fuels.Preferred Qualifications:--Previous salvage operation employmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, as well as an office environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights.
