Multi-Domain Operations, a division within Northrop Grumman’s Space

warfighter. We are looking for an experienced Engineer to augment
our team. Successful candidates will be experienced as software
engineers and perform as an Agile Product Owner for our Processing
Services team. In this position, the candidate will be required to
understand system level software architecture and how the software
is used in the mission spaces and how to decompose customer
requests into stories without formal requirements guiding the
process, understanding the best software development practices and
the full software development lifecycle. The candidate will be
expected to have leadership skills in the areas of motivating a
large agile team that supports multiple products, handle
prioritization with requests coming from multiple customers and
understanding of when to delegate tasks or take them on yourself to
prevent distracting the team. About our organization: As an
engineer, you'll be joining our growing Aurora Software department
which has 200 Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Systems
Administrator, Database Administrator, and Network Engineer peers
from entry-level to the most senior chief engineers and architects.
Staff Software Engineers frequently get into informal (example:
Subject Matter Expert) and formal technical leadership roles within
their programs, as applicable and per interest. We have plenty of
opportunity for career advancement into higher level technical
roles or leadership positions. Our Software Department is part of a
larger organization that includes Systems Engineering, Integration,
and Test staff as well as a Hardware Engineering unit. This larger
organization influences cross-program collaboration, professional
development and training, as well as engagement and inclusion
activities such as lunch-n-learns, campus events, and leadership
mixers. Basic Qualifications: Staff Engineer (Level 5): Bachelor's
degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of relative experience;
master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of relative
experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered
in lieu of degree. Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility
required at time of application. Must be willing to submit and pass
a CI Poly after starting work Experience with Containerization,
Kubernetes, Helm charts, Java, Atlassian tool. Experience
developing in Javascript and helmfile, to the extent the candidate
can troubleshoot issues, debug code and perform peer reviews.
Understanding how to decompose customer requests into stories
without formal requirements guiding the process. Leadership skills,
including developing/mentoring a team using Agile methodology,
process, and tools. A good understanding of system level software
architecture and how the software is used in the mission spaces,
understanding the best software development practices and the full
software development lifecycle. Primary Level Salary Range:
$177,000.00 - $265,600.00 The above salary range represents a
general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of
factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
(PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The application period
