systems for the future! What are the primary responsibilities in
the Advanced Database/Web Engineer position? Core responsibilities
include leading the design and implementation of data systems with
both web and database components, analyzing and maintaining
existing databases and web interfaces, and adding new features to
operational systems. This will include implementing signal
processing and other algorithms with efficient software, testing
with real data, providing applications to front-line customer
facilities, and creating effective user interfaces and data
visualization tools. A key responsibility is staying up-to-date
with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies and
experimenting with new technologies to incorporate innovative
solutions into RRC projects. RRC personnel can expect to work
across all functional areas: systems engineering, development,
integration and test, deployment and O&M, and experience the
direct mission feedback from the customer and seeing your project
provide real-world contributions that make a significant
difference. You’re encouraged and expected to propose things that
you believe will improve the applications and frameworks you’re
working in. The ability to work unsupervised with minimal direction
and the ability to self-start is a must. What required background
will make you successful? Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in
Computer Engineering or Computer Science Minimum 8 years'
experience in software engineering-related discipline Proficient in
modern software engineering practices for testability and
readability Proficient in C++ and Python in LINUX environments
Proficient in SQL and/or NoSQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML Demonstrated
ability to design software systems to ensure they achieve
functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability
requirements Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security
clearance US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED Preferred background: Familiarity
with JavaScript frameworks including Vue, React, Angular DevOps and
Cloud computing Experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker,
Kubernetes, PIP) Agile development processes Ability to mentor
other engineers and provide technical advice to project leaders
Current TS/SCI clearance Where is the position located? This
position is located at our Centennial, CO office or our Tucson, AZ
Headquarters. Remote work/telework is not available for this

Compensation: Starts at $138,000 benefits. Total compensation is
based on qualifications and experience. Please note this range is
specific to employees working in Colorado. Salary ranges for remote
candidates working outside of Colorado can be subject to
regionalized compensation based on their respective work
location.
