• Develop containerized applications and DevOps utilities for a cutting-edge satellite ground system.
• Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.What You Will Learn
  • Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
  • Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects.
  • Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations.Qualifications You Must Have
    • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
    • Experience with Java or C/C++.
    • Experience with Groovy, Python, or Ruby.
    • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Experience with Linux and Git administration.
    • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued SCI security clearance is also required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer
      • CompTIA Security+ certification.
      • Experience building container images and helm charts from scratch and deploying to Kubernetes.
      • Experience with Java and Groovy programming.
      • Kubernetes debugging skills.
      • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
      • Docker Certified Associate (DCA).
      • Experience with Test Automation, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes.
      • Experience working with a large-scale legacy software system.

        • This software engineering position is onsite at our Aurora, CO location. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
