* Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new computer (and/or server), peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs.--- Establishes functional and technical specifications, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.--- Solve hardware and software issue and you will have trouble shooting skills--- Understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
* Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environmentUse troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
* Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
* Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations.--- hardware and software troubleshooting skills--- Full time 100% Onsite position Qualifications You Must Have:--- Typically requires bachelor's degree
* Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
* Must have Linux experience
* Must be able to obtain transferable U.Sgovernment issued secret security clearance prior to start dateU.Scitizenship is required, as only U.Scitizens are eligible for a security clearance.
* Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) or acquire one within 2 months of start dateInability to meet this certification requirement within that timeframe may result in termination with Raytheon TechnologiesIAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND.
Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with scripting, particularly in Bash and Python--- Experienced using and developing with automation tools/frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
* Experience with recent versions of VMware (ESXi and vCenter)
* ZFS Storage administration experience
* Experience administering Windows based systems including Active Directory and group policies
* Proficiency with Enterprise level administration of common services such as DNS, sendmail, and LDAP
* Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency
* Requires the ability to effectively interact with external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and vendors
