As a Controls Tech Specialist I, you will be responsible for
troubleshooting, maintaining and enhancing the accuracy,
reliability and system control s data credibility of PLC and
PC-based automation systems. In this role, you will oversee PLC
upgrades and wiring modifications on production equipment and work
directly with our maintenance team to troubleshoot and support
production line modifications.Perform troubleshooting of automation
systems and provide instrumentation, PLC and HMI/SCADA software and
hardware support to the maintenance staffExecute plant projects and
capital projects from conception through completionMaintain an
up-to-date and complete set of as-built electrical and controls
documentationCoordinate and implement control system software
upgradesPerform Network Administration and Data Administration
tasks for networked, PC-based control systems-related
equipmentDevelop, read and interpret all electrical schematics,
wiring diagrams and programs essential to plant operation and
provide updates as necessaryRequirementsHigh School Diploma orGED
equivalent3+ years ofapplicable experience in PLC software and
hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI systemsORAssociate s
Degree in a technical discipline1+ year of applicable experience in
PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI
systemsThe approximate pay range for this position is $67,000 -
$91,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith
estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final
compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to
knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic
