Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is looking for you to join our team as a Manager Software Engineering 1 based out of Aurora, CO. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required and the ideal candidate will have demonstrated success collaborating and leading technical teams.Responsibilities Include: - Technical contributor or manager in a program role as part of the Aurora Engineering management team. - Functional oversight for a team of software engineers of varied disciplines. - Staffing and workload forecasting; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute on programs.- Recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, performance management and contract maintenance for contractors working in the business area as required.Please note that the manager position is a 20% part-time position with the remaining 80% being a technical position on a program.This management role will require you to complete an assessment as part of the application process.
