Length of Assignment: 26 weeks

Currently our ASA is high and as we increase staff to support AR, we need to also increase our Customer Service team support to be able to respond to our inbound call volume and reduce wait times. Without this additional support our Patient Experience will diminish by not having adequate staff to support the inbound call volume. We also need to be available timely to accept payments on patient balances owed.

This is a mid-level position within the Patient Financial Services team. This role is key to the journey for the patient experience and responds as the face of the organization for post service billing questions. Team members respond to inbound calls and faxes for both internal and external customers, accepting payments and works to resolve billing issues, including coordinating with internal departments as needed. This position also support outbound courtesy or collection calls when needed and must understand basic insurance process, including reviewing and understanding an EOB.
