This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll set the vision for nursing, drive patient care standards, and lead a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient behavioral health setting. You won’t just manage—you’ll influence outcomes, elevate care quality, and build a strong, accountable nursing culture. You’ll work closely with leadership and clinical teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care while improving operational performance and staff development. What you’ll do Lead and oversee all nursing operations within the facility Set strategic direction for nursing practice and patient care delivery Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards Manage staffing, patient acuity, and resource allocation Drive performance, accountability, and staff development across nursing teams Oversee departmental budgets and operational efficiency Partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes Address patient care gaps and resolve escalated concerns What you bring Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred) 6 years RN experience (10 preferred) 3 years in progressive nursing leadership Behavioral health experience in an inpatient setting Experience in psychiatric hospital leadership (CNO/DON strongly preferred) Strong operational, clinical, and people leadership skills
