Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice
RN to join our team of healthcare professionals. In this vital
role, you will provide end-of-life care to patients, ensuring they
receive the highest standard of comfort and support. As a Hospice
RN at HCA Healthcare, you'll be an integral part of a leading
healthcare services provider that is committed to improving the
well-being of our patients and their families. This position
requires a deep understanding of palliative care practices,
exceptional interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to
upholding the dignity of life in its final stages. Assess patient
conditions and develop appropriate care plans in collaboration with
the healthcare team. Administer medications, maintain patient
records and communicate with families and caregivers about their
loved one’s condition and care. Provide emotional support and
educate patients and family members on end-of-life care. Monitor
and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide
holistic care. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations
and maintain patient confidentiality. Strong knowledge of
palliative care and pain management techniques. Excellent
communication and empathetic skills. Ability to work effectively
within an interdisciplinary team. Proficiency in electronic medical
record systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of practice. Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN)
certification preferred.
