Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care
Float Pool for night shifts. This role is pivotal in providing
top-tier, patient-centered care across various departments in our
network of hospitals and outpatient facilities. Successful
candidates will embrace the challenge of adapting to different
acute care environments and upholding the highest standards of care
irrespective of the setting. This position offers the opportunity
to work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals and
play a direct role in impacting patient outcomes. Provide
comprehensive nursing care in various acute care departments.
Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement
nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer
nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or
provide case management. Liaise with healthcare professionals to
provide optimal patient care across departments. Proficient in
clinical skills with the ability to work in various medical
environments. Strong adaptation skills to ever-changing scenarios.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
under pressure and make quick decisions. Adept at comprehensive
patient assessments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado. CPR/BLS certified by the American Heart
Association or equivalent. ACLS certification preferred.
