Job Description:
HealthONE, a cornerstone of HCA Healthcare in Aurora, CO, is
actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our
Emergency Room team. This position offers the opportunity to work
in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, focusing on acute
medical conditions and injuries. Our ER team provides critical care
at all hours, ensuring the highest levels of patient care, support,
and medical attention. As an RN in our ER, you will work alongside
top healthcare professionals, using state-of-the-art medical
technology to administer treatments, manage patient health records,
and contribute to emergency interventions. Provide immediate
medical attention and nursing care during emergencies, following
physicians' orders and established protocols. Monitor patient vital
signs and symptoms, adjusting treatment as needed to ensure optimum
patient outcomes. Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and
other treatments safely and accurately. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive
patient care. Document patient care services by charting in patient
records accurately and completely. Maintain a safe and clean work
environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Educate patients and families on treatment protocols,
post-emergency care, and preventive measures. Strong clinical
skills in emergency care Excellent decision-making and
problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and react
effectively to emergency situations Proficient in the use of
medical equipment and software used in ER settings Effective
communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid registered
nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support
(BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
