Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in
Labor and Delivery (L&D) to join our Metro Denver Float Pool
for night shifts. This position requires a flexible, skilled
individual to provide top-quality care across various UCHealth
facilities in the Metro Denver area. As a part of our team, you
will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless, compassionate, and
specialized nursing care to mothers and babies during one of the
most crucial times of their lives. The ideal candidate should be
prepared to adapt to new environments, collaborate with various
healthcare teams, and uphold the high standards of UCHealth care.
Provide direct nursing care in a diverse environment to patients in
the Labor and Delivery unit. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Administer medications, perform routine lab work, and monitor
results. Advise and support patients and their families during the
birthing process. Maintain flexibility to float between different
UCHealth facilities in the Metro Denver area. Ensure compliance
with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Participate in
continuous education and professional development opportunities.
Proficient in fetal monitoring and other specialized L&D
equipment. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
independently and handle stressful situations with composure.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Current RN license valid in Colorado. BLS/CPR certification
required from the American Heart Association. ACLS and NRP
certifications highly preferred.
