Job Description:
UCHealth invites registered nurses to apply for a rewarding role
in our RN ICU Float Pool. As part of our team, you'll be integral
in providing top-notch, compassionate care across different
Intensive Care Units within our health system. This position offers
dynamic work environments where your skills and dedication will be
vital in supporting a range of critical care needs, adapting to new
challenges each day while working alongside seasoned professionals
in a supportive, patient-focused setting. Provide direct nursing
care for patients in a variety of ICU units based on daily
assignments. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Adjust care plans
based on patient's dynamic health status and ICU needs. Administer
medications, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure
compliance with healthcare regulations. Support patient families by
communicating patient conditions and care plans effectively.
Participate in continuing education and professional development
opportunities. Strong clinical skills with a focus on critical care
nursing Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions
Great interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in
electronic health record (EHR) systems Strong decision-making and
problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required Critical
Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred
