Job Description:
UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered care in Colorado, seeks a
dedicated RN Acute Care Neurology to join our dynamic team in the
neurology department. This role is pivotal in managing nursing care
for neurology patients in an acute care setting. The successful
candidate will apply specialized knowledge of nursing procedures
and practices related to neurologic care. Our team focuses on
providing top-level comprehensive care, and your role will ensure
all patients receive the holistic guidance necessary during their
recovery journey. Ideal candidates will be driven, compassionate,
and skilled in both clinical expertise and communication. Provide
high-quality, compassionate care to neurology patients in an acute
care setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including
neurologists, therapists, and healthcare associates. Monitor
patient health and update records while adhering to regulations.
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens, procedural
details, and ongoing recovery expectations. Administer medications
and treatments promptly and efficiently as prescribed by the
attending neurologist. Participate in continuous education
activities to enhance professional growth and remain updated with
the latest in neurology care. Proven ability to perform
high-quality neurology nursing care Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Detail-oriented with a capacity to make
informed decisions under pressure Experience with neurological exam
tools and technologies Ability to handle emotional situations with
professionalism and empathy Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Colorado Certification in Neuroscience
Nursing (CNRN) preferred, but not required
