We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Float Pool team. This role is pivotal as it involves providing top-tier nursing services across various departments within our hospitals based on demand. This position demands adaptability and a broad knowledge of different areas of acute nursing care. The selected candidate will ensure high standards of culturally competent care for a wide variety of patients within the hospital. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare setting. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in a collaborative manner with healthcare teams. Adapt to varying work departments and patient needs with high level competency. Ensure the well-being of patients and provide a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward patient care. Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports. Administer medications appropriately, monitor patient recovery and outcomes, and inform physicians of patient status and progress. Participate in development and review of departmental nursing policies and procedures. Exceptional ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment with varying specialist requirements. Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on cardiac, emergency, respiratory, and intensive care nursing. Proficient in using healthcare software and patient management systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Colorado or from a compact state recognized by the Colorado Board of Nursing. BLS/CPR Certification with ACLS preferred.
