UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Cardiac Care unit for night shifts. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a leading Colorado-based, nonprofit health care system known for its commitment to patient-centered care. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, delivering high-quality cardiac care to patients across multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities. This role requires adaptability and a passion for travel, as assignments may vary across our locations. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the acute cardiac care unit. Monitor patient health conditions post-surgery or during severe health episodes and respond with appropriate interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor reactions. Work collaboratively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to implement effective patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, post-hospital care, and lifestyle adjustments. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards for patient care and safety. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Proficiency in providing cardiac care and managing acute conditions Ability to work efficiently under stress and adapt to varying conditions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Skill in the use of medical technologies and software relevant to patient care in cardiac units Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS/ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (CCRN) preferred
