Job Description:
UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered healthcare in Colorado,
is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to
join our regional float pool specializing in Mother and Baby care
during night shifts. This position caters to RNs who are flexible
in traveling between facilities and desire a dynamic work
environment. Our facilities focus on delivering personalized,
high-quality care, making this role perfect for someone dedicated
to making a positive impact on newborns and women during their
postpartum period. Provide high quality nursing care to mothers and
newborns post-delivery. Travel between various UCHealth facilities
to ensure staffing needs are met. Assist with assessments,
treatment, and creating care plans. Educate and support mothers
with breastfeeding, postpartum care and newborn care. Monitor the
health conditions of babies and mothers and respond to any
complications. Maintain comprehensive patient records and comply
with all hospital policies and procedures. Expertise in postpartum
and newborn care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel between hospitals as needed. Capable of working
independently and making critical decisions. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR
certification required. NRP certification preferred.
