Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit health care system based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for
our Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. As part of our dynamic team, you
will have the opportunity to work within a cutting-edge
environment, providing specialized care and supporting patients
with cardiovascular disorders. This position offers the unique
prospect of traveling across various UCHealth facilities to ensure
the highest level of patient care and clinical outcomes. Administer
nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic
services in the EP lab. Monitor patient vitals and condition
before, during, and after procedures, ensuring optimal patient
safety. Collaborate with cardiologists and radiologists to
facilitate comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their
families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing cardiovascular health
management. Travel to multiple UCHealth facilities as needed,
adapting to and upholding standards and protocols at each location.
Strong clinical skills in a cardiovascular or intensive care
setting Experience with EP equipment and monitoring devices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt
to changing environments and protocols High competency in patient
assessments and critical thinking Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR
certification ACLS certification preferred Certification as a
Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or similar is
beneficial
