Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel
nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Denver,
Colorado. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac
Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks -
36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel
RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed
for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside
experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5
weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the
initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n
Opportunity: /n RN - PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour day
shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM /n• Cardiac surgery progressive care
unit (PCU) on 10th floor /n• Patient ratio of 1:4 /n• Must have
ACLS certification and PCU/cardiac experience /n• Required to work
with cardiac drips including heparin, tikosyn, diltiazem,
amiodarone, nitroglycerin, Lasix, and ketamine /n• Work with
specialized equipment including telemetry monitors, transport
monitors, suction devices, feeding pumps, tracheostomies,
BiPAP/CPAP, heated high flow oxygen, chest tubes, Foley catheters,
pacer wires/pacers, IV pumps, and sequential compression devices
/n• Use Meditech EMR system /n• Perform typical procedures
including chest tube placement and removal, pacer wire removal, and
12-lead EKGs /n• Work in fast-paced, high-acuity cardiac unit
environment /n• Must demonstrate excellent teamwork skills and high
energy /n• Work alongside charge RN, nursing staff, and patient
care technicians /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility

20-bed progressive care unit dedicated to cardiac surgery patients.
