Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Oncology RN in Aurora, Colorado, 80045! Job Title:

Experience: 2 years of acute care BMT or heme/onc experience
required License: Current RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, ONC
certification Must-Have: - Experience in BMT/Inpatient oncology -
Administration of chemotherapy - Care and management of ports
Description: The unit cares for patients with blood cancers who are
receiving chemotherapy, biotherapies, and cellular therapies such
as stem cell transplants and CAR-T. Staff-to-patient ratios range
from 3-4:1. Shifts will rotate between days and nights; straight
night or day requests are not allowed. Weekend coverage is required
based on unit needs. The position does require floating within the
scope to meet facility needs. The unit consists of 36 beds, with
plans to expand to 51 beds. Ten RTO days are approved per 13-week
contract, with specific blackout periods for time off. First-time
travelers are accepted as long as they have the required
experience. Candidates must be comfortable with handling patients
undergoing chemotherapy and other related procedures. Skills
required include recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values,
administering blood and blood products, and managing various
