clinics in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas,
Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Tennessee and
Texas Jails and Detention Centers. Our team oversees the day-to-day
healthcare operations in facilities with inmate populations ranging
from 25 to nearly 2,000 inmates. Our medical staff are afforded the
opportunity to utilize their medical skills to their fullest

Aurora Detention Center, Aurora CO /n/n RN (Registered Nurse) /n/n
/n/t - Full-time nights (12-hour shifts) /n/t - Vaccines Not
Mandatory /n /n/n The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for
delivery of care to patients utilizing the nursing process of
assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation;
and effectively interacts with patients, facility staff, and other
health team members while maintaining standards of professional
nursing. /n/n Essential physical requirements /n/n /n/t - Prolonged
stationary periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
/n/t - Prolonged periods of standing, mobbing, ascending/descending
stairs, and bending /n/t - Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. at
times /n/t - Must be able to push a medical cart of at least 50
lbs. at times /n /n/n Key Responsibilities /n/n /n/t - Utilize the
nursing process by demonstrating appropriate assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation of the patient’s care. /n/t -
Collect and document patient’s current and past medical/mental
health conditions. /n/t - Make accurate ongoing assessments of
patient's status and respond appropriately. /n/t - Plan and
implement a plan of care by the appropriate selection of Nurse
Practice Standards. The plan of care is initiated on patient
admission based on all aspects of the initial assessment. Plans
include physiological, psychosocial, and environmental factors.
/n/t - Educate patients and assist with discharge planning. /n/t -
Communicate with providers regarding nursing assessments and
patient needs. /n/t - Collaborate with healthcare team members and
detention officers. /n/t - Administer medications according to
policy and procedure, observe and document patient’s response to
pertinent medications. /n/t - Document all care and communication
