Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Denver, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,729 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN - PACU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 - 20:30 Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Description: Travel position available for an RN in the PACU. The unit consists of a pre-op and PACU area with 10 beds in each. Staffing includes approximately 17 members across both departments. Day shift staff hours are staggered, starting at 5:30 AM with the last staff member arriving at 2 PM. The unit is staffed until 9:30 PM and has night shift call requirements. Patient nurse ratio is 2:1. Equipment includes Phillips monitors and the EMR is Meditech. Candidates must have BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred candidates will have experience with Meditech. A large variety of surgical cases are managed, including complex surgeries. ICU cases are typically transferred directly to ICU unless it is at capacity. Ideal candidates are flexible and enjoy working collaboratively across both units. The team is known for a high level of professionalism and a fun working environment. Staff may float between units and take call shifts as required. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly functional team during a busy season.
