Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Orthopedics for a travel nursing job in Aurora, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Orthopedics - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Orthopedic /n/n Job Details: /n • Work night shifts on Med/Surg/Ortho unit (632) at Medical Center of Aurora /n• Patient ratios of 1:5 for days and nights (varies between units, estimated ratios not guaranteed) /n• Float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed /n• Care for large cardiac population on 2 Tele floors and PCU /n• Work with various medical equipment and use Meditech EMR system /n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS /n• Preferred: Strong Tele experience (minimum 2 years required) /n• Nice to have: Chemo Certification for potential scheduling on Oncology unit /n• Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float between units /n• Perform varied procedures depending on unit assignment /n• Care for patients with varied medical issues both acute and chronic /n• Team player attitude and compassion required /n• Work in family-oriented environment where staff supports each other /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility is a 345-bed medical center with 3-time Magnet designation, demonstrating excellence in nursing care and patient outcomes.
