Pay Information $2,291 per week About The Position Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Compact RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Required to float within scope to meet facility needs - 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse in the CVICU specialty. Our unit specializes in comprehensive circulatory and respiratory support for critically ill adults. We focus on open-heart surgeries, ventricular assist devices, heart and lung transplants, ECMO, and more. Our multidisciplinary team emphasizes holistic health and supportive education to improve patient outcomes. Nurse-to-patient ratios vary based on acuity and can be 1:2, 1:1, or 2:1. Candidates should have experience in managing critically ill patients with complex conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate skills in accessing and managing ports, arterial line management, and ventilator management.
