Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 3 years of CT surgery and trauma experience for a Level 1 Trauma Center assignment. Responsibilities - Position is in the Operating Room department of a Level 1 Trauma Center with 41 ORs - Patient population includes general, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastics surgical cases - 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio - Day shift schedule (3x12 hours), with start times of 6:45, 8:45, or 10:45 based on unit needs - Weekend and on-call assignments are required as per unit needs, with approximately 6 on-call shifts per 8-week period - Floating within scope to other ORs at the facility is required - Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required - Responsible for circulating and scrubbing on a variety of surgical cases including general, CT, neuro, GU/GYN, ENT, and plastics - Team-based environment with support for both circulator and scrub roles - Up to 10 days of requested time off may be approved during each 13-week contract, excluding blackout dates - Blocked scheduling requests are not accepted - Completion of orientation modules is mandatory prior to starting - Scrub attire required as per hospital policy - Local candidates are accepted Requirements - Active CO or compact RN license required - AHA BLS certification required - Minimum 3 years of cardio-thoracic specific OR experience as circulator, scrub, or both - Level 1 or 2 trauma OR experience required - Epic EMR experience required - No first-time travelers accepted - Candidates must not have applied for internal jobs or worked at the facility within the last two years Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621374.
