Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. • 24 months of acute care experience.• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months • BSN completion preferred Requirements: • Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Teaching Hospital experience. Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Tracheostomy care/management, Colostomy care and management, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Wound Care/Wound Vac, IV insulin protocols, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID. Special Requests: RTO is not allowed during the following time period: November 3, 2025, November 24 – December 1, 2025, December 21 – January 3, 2026 (We MAY consider flexibility for harder to fill positions) Shift & Scheduling: Rotating shifts. Days of the week: various days of the week Minimum of 8 weekend required each 6 week period: weekends include sat/sun day shifts and fri/sat/sun night shifts.
