Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience and current AHA BLS, ARDMS, or CCI RCS certification. Responsibilities - Work in a radiology/cardiac imaging department focused on echocardiography - Day shift position with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on various days of the week - Weekend coverage required for 1-2 weekends during a 13-week assignment - No on-call or floating between units required - Scrub color required: grey top with black or grey bottoms - Responsibilities include performing comprehensive echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound studies - Up to 10 days of requested time off are allowed per 13-week contract, with specific blackout dates where RTO is not permitted - No blocked scheduling requests allowed - Candidates who have worked for this health system or its affiliates in any capacity within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position - Mandatory completion of facility-provided training modules during orientation - Local candidates are eligible for this position if residing less than 75 miles from the facility Requirements - At least 1 year of recent experience as an Echo Technologist or Cardiac Sonographer - Current AHA BLS certification required - ARDMS or CCI RCS certification required - First-time travelers will not be considered - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630040.
