Job Summary: Anesthesia Technologist (Contract) – 13 Weeks Address: Aurora, CO Schedule: 10-Hour Days | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Hours/Week: 40 Key Responsibilities: Assist anesthesiology providers in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of anesthesia equipment in surgical environments. Support pediatric surgical cases in the CVOR, main OR, and float as needed to other ORs or campuses. Prepare and maintain anesthesia carts, supplies, and medication setup in compliance with clinical protocols. Respond to on-call duties for emergency surgical needs. Schedule & Float Details: Weekend Call: Up to 2 full weekend call shifts/month (Friday 4:30 PM – Monday 6:00 AM) Weekday On-Call: Up to 2 nights/week (4:30 PM – 6:00 AM) Float Requirement: Must float to other ORs and occasionally to South or North campuses (within 30–35 miles) to cover sick calls as needed. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of Pediatric CVOR/Main OR anesthesia tech experience Prior on-call experience required Certifications: BLS (required) ACLS (preferred) Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience in CVOR/Cath Lab/Pediatric Anesthesia Tech role Strong clinical flexibility and ability to work independently across departments Additional Information: No charge duties required New travelers accepted Floating within clinical competency and 35-mile radius required Facility uses time and attendance system for timekeeping
