Nights, 7pm-7am, 12-hour shifts COMPANY OVERVIEW: Estes Park

inpatient services. SUMMARY: Provide nursing care to patients in
Med/Surg. All aspects of nursing process; assess plans, implement
and evaluate and documentation of care. DUTIES: · Plans for and
utilizes nursing process to meet needs of patients of all ages.
Includes assessment, planning (discharge, nursing care),
implementation and evaluation. (Assess per chart review) · Performs
treatment in a safe and effective manner. · Administers medications
in a safe and timely manner. · Maintains responsibility for
preparation, interpretation and evaluation of test data. ·
Demonstrates knowledge and skills to act appropriately in an
emergency situation. · Demonstrates knowledge and participates in
education and counseling of patients and significant other in a
plan of care. · Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and
competency. May be required to complete periodic mandatory
education as established by the Education Director and the Director
of Medical/Surgical Nursing. · Promotes positive interpersonal
relationships and demonstrates effective communication skills. ·
Maintains confidentiality of all patient and hospital information.
· Practices according to professional and ethical standards and
enforces the same. Demonstrates an understanding of and functions
as a professional nurse in accordance with Colorado State Nurse
Practice Act. · Provides care to patients in Medical/Surgical
floor. · Participate in committees as assigned. · Perform in
accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulatory
agency standards. · Perform in accordance with EPH vision, mission
and goals. · All other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: ·
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. · Must possess a valid
Colorado RN license or a valid multistate RN license through the
Nurse Licensure Compact. · Must be American Heart Association BLS
certified upon employment. · ACLS and basic ECG. IMPORTANT PLEASE
READ VERIFICATION OF CREDENTIALS CHECKLIST Before agency personnel
may provide care to patients or perform any responsibility
requiring a license, a HR representative will confirm receipt of
the following credentials/documents from candidates travel agency:
· Current CO license or multistate license and source verified o If
permanent license, verify online & print a copy of the page. o If
temporary license, have copy of authorization letter from Colorado
Board of Nursing; verify by phone, note on copy and place in their
file. · Copies of certifications required for the position that are
listed in the Job Description. o Such as: BLS and ACLS must be AHA,
and PALS. · Immunization records including documentation of
immunity to Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella-Zoste, Hep B and
Tetanus. · TB test within the last year. We will only accept
QuantiFERON. · Influenza shot is required by the State of Colorado
no exceptions during influenza season. Influenza season is Sept 1st
(depending on availability of flu vaccines) through to March 31st
of the following year, or as otherwise defined by the Department of
Epidemiology and Flu Surveillance Team. · Confirmation of having
received the COVID Vaccine (copy of vaccine card). · Copy of
negative 10 panel drug screen results (within the last 30 days). ·
Resume’ with work experience. · Documented references. · Proof of
all required Regulatory (OSHA) Training. · Assessment of
skills/competencies. · Results of criminal background check
including OIG (within the last 30 days). · CAPS check through the
State of Colorado (required for all patient care positions). I will
also need a W-9 for your company.
