We are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus to RN's who have a minimum
of 1 year of RN experience.
Also, we are offering a night incentive to Full time RN's of $1,600
for every 13 consecutive weeks of full time commitment. You must
work a minimum of 3 full time night shifts every week.
Summary:
Provides nursing leadership for a specific shift and unit/area.
The Medical Acute Care Unit is an exciting 36-bed inpatient unit
that provides high quality medical and nursing care to a diverse
group of patients facing both acute and chronic medical diagnoses.
Patients receive diagnostic evaluation and treatment for a wide
array of conditions including infectious processes, metabolic
derangements, hematologic or rheumatology flares, and other organ
dysfunctions such as those affecting the heart, kidneys, and liver.
We collaborate with Medicine Wards teams, comprised of attendings,
residents, and medical students, as well as Hospital Medicine
Service teams, comprised of attendings, advanced practice
providers, and advanced practice fellows. This multidisciplinary,
teaching-focused model fosters an ideal environment for nurses
seeking a diverse practice setting rooted in evidence-based
medicine, synergistic teamwork, and meaningful patient

Work Schedule: Full Time Nights
Responsibilities:
Supervises and mentors staff during assigned shift. Determines
staffing level and assignments based on staff availability, staff
abilities, census, and patient acuity.
Provides direct patient care as needed. Floats between staff to
assist with problem-solving. May take patient assignments to meet
staffing needs.
Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care, including formal
evaluation, and identifies any issues that affect desired patient
outcomes. Responds to complaints about patient care and related
services, and manages through established channels.
Performs role-specific duties as assigned, including entering
orders, performing admissions or discharges, and coordinating
transfers. Ensures staff has necessary equipment and supplies to
provide safe, quality patient care.
Requirements:
The pay range for this position is: $36.47 - $56.52 / hour.
