Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)We are seeking an experienced, analytical and motivated Supervisor, Pharmacy Operations to lead a team of Pharmacy Technicians in the Centennial, CO office. In this fast-paced role, you would manage Pharmacy Technicians to ensure productivity and improve current processes. Bring your pharmacy and supervision experience to a company that recognizes your contributions and encourages employee advancement.Primary Responsibilities:* Monitoring and managing staff productivity and quality* Personnel management* Handling escalated calls to ensure member satisfaction and save time* Managing projects as needed* Acting as the SME for processes, policies and procedures* Identifying potential issues that interfere with workflow* Determining and implementing process improvements* Identifying trends and ensuring fair workload distribution* Owns output at task level* Work is generally limited to own function* Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion* Coordinates work activities with other supervisors* Develops plans to meet short - term objectives* Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment* Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan* Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and/or customers (internal or external)* Provide inspirational leadership and guidance to the team through feedback, performance management and development conversationsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:* High School Diploma/GED* 1+ years of Team Lead or Supervisory experience* 1+ years of Warehouse and/or Inventory Management experience* MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)* You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (ie, entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attainedPreferred Qualifications:* Current and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Colorado* National Technician Certification (PTCB)* Bachelor's Degree* 2+ years of Pharmacy experience (mail order, retail, hospital, LTC etc.)* Call center experience* Analytics experience* PBM and/or Managed Care experience* Solid problem-solving skills* Superior communication skills, both written and verbal* Experience working independentlyCareers with Optum.
