Under minimal supervision the Application Engineer plays a pivotal role in the administration and optimization of our Citrix XenMobile MDM SaaS platform. The expertise of this role is instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of mobile device management within our healthcare environment while actively participating in improvements and enhancements. Responsibilities include team lead level supervisory role to include resourcing and coordinating team maintenance, projects, inventory and operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Citrix XenMobile MDM Expertise: Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Citrix XenMobile MDM SaaS, offering advanced support, configuration, and optimization. (15%)
  • System Architecture and Design: Design and implement the architecture of the Citrix XenMobile platform to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. (15%)
  • Platform Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance the performance, scalability, and security of the Citrix XenMobile environment, including regular system updates and patches. (10%)
  • Data Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to implement robust data security measures, encryption, and ensure HIPAA compliance in mobile device management. (10%)
  • End-User Training: Develop and deliver advanced training sessions for healthcare staff, ensuring the efficient and secure use of mobile devices and applications. (10%)
  • Integration and Automation: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Citrix XenMobile with other systems, identify opportunities for automation, and implement process improvements. (10%)
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, compliance, and healthcare providers, to ensure the successful operation of mobile device management within the healthcare environment. (10%)
  • Policy and Configuration Management: Develop, enforce, and document MDM policies, configurations, and standards, working closely with security and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements. (5%)
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for complex technical issues related to Citrix XenMobile, ensuring minimal disruption to healthcare operations and acting as a point of escalation. (5%)
  • Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee the deployment, updates, and management of healthcare-specific mobile applications, working to streamline the process and maintain compliance. (5%)
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation of Citrix XenMobile configurations, best practices, and provide guidance to junior staff members. (5%)
    Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred, a combination of education and experience will be considered.
      Work Experience:
      • 4-6 years Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Citrix XenMobile MDM SaaS platform in healthcare or similarly regulated industries. Required

        • Proven knowledge and experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Citrix XenMobile MDM SaaS platform in healthcare or similarly regulated industries.
        • Strong knowledge and understanding of mobile device management, mobile application management, mobile security, and Citrix XenMobile architecture.
        • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical issues.
        • Ability to communicate effectively, participate as an active team member, and demonstrated effective collaboration skills.
