do? Join our growing Distribution team today!--POSITION PURPOSE:
Oversee all functions relating to product slotting, returns /
damage processing, product integrity, product recall processing and
overall accuracy of facilities inventory. Develop the proper
structure of the department to achieve the best Quantity On Hand
Out of Stock (QOHOS%), achieve the lowest possible inventory
shrink, manage product quality and code dates, and manage the
slotting process for all Stock Keeping Units (sku's). Coordinate
with Operations, Purchasing and Sales to assure a high level of
inventory accuracy, to assure product shrink is minimized, and to
assure product quality is maintained at UNFI standards.--ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:------------------ Develop and manage
processes to assurance accuracy of inventory.------------------
Ensure inventory discrepancies are investigated and corrected in a
timely manner.------------------ Assure the highest level of
product quality is maintained.------------------ Oversee product
slotting analysis, product slot assignment and slot movements.
Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance to re-align warehouse
racking in support of proper product slotting.------------------
Develop, evaluate and perform performance appraisals of department
personnel.------------------ Track inventory shrink and assist
other departmental areas in reducing overall product
loss.------------------ Provides Management with updates and
reports on inventory issues and updates to Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP'S). --QUALIFICATIONS:------------------ Bachelor's
degree is preferred and/or equivalent related
experience.------------------ Microsoft Suite------------------
Four (4) or more years of inventory, quality control, and/or food
warehouse management experience.------------------ Two (2) or more
supervisory experience------------------ Excellent leadership
skills.------------------ Good verbal and written communication
skills.------------------ Strong math and analytical
skills------------------ Solid computer skills------------------
Solid understanding of Receiving and Shipping
functions------------------ Good organization and Time Management

Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors,
including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and
any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.

average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved,
among other factors.UNFI s compensation, benefits, and paid time
