Position Summary

Carbon Chemistry is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of its distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management and experience in the manufacturing, supply chain, or cannabis industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for personnel management, financial operations, project management, corporate compliance, and partnering with the CEO in strategic planning. General Manager will also ensure that the packaging and distribution processes meet the highest quality standards and are compliant with all industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the packaging and distribution process, including inventory management, quality control, and logistics
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for packaging and sales
• Manage and lead a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
• Responsible for personnel management, including hiring, performance management, and career development
• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing input and recommendations on key business decisions
• Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and AP/AR
• Manage projects to ensure timely and successful completion
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Partner with the CEO to develop and execute strategic plans
• Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for growth and improvement

    Requirements:
    
    • A minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in operations management required
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or related field preferred
    • Experience in the cannabis industry, food manufacturing, or a related field is preferred
    • Proven track record of managing and leading teams in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Independent work style with a drive for results
    • Finance/cash flow management experience
    • Experience building teams and defining processes
    • Analytical nature and good documentation skills
      Carbon Chemistry offers a competitive salary, health benefits, 401K, and a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement. Base Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience with a range of 100K - 150K plus company equity.
